We are a local group committed to educating our community about Bonsai. Established 1980.
For over 45 years we have been dedicated to learning, practicing and spreading the art of bonsai. We welcome visitors to our workshops, which are on the second Saturday of every month from 10am to 1pm at the Napa Senior Center.
We’re committed to improving the understanding of bonsai care and design. A living art demands constant attention and work. Having a bonsai creates a continuous bond between the owner and tree — human and nature.
Bonsai art has a small, but growing, community in the U.S. There are many wonderful teachers spreading knowledge of how to care and create bonsai. Our organization’s goal is to support and extend this sharing of knowledge.
At the core of this art form is creating amazing trees that express our relationship with nature in a very direct way. This creative process is challenging, especially when first starting, but rewarding for those with a little determination.
